Who we are and why it is important.

We believe in intensive and sustainable production to ensure a prosperous future for our country and our company.

1994

The company took its first steps in Uruguay through the acquisition of its initial farmland, marking the beginning of its history in the country's agricultural sector.

2012

Inspired by André Voisin's premises on rational grazing (PRV), we embarked on a project to intensify production in breeding cattle. Our goal was to explore a productive, intensive, sustainable, ecological, and economically viable system that would support high stocking rates and efficiently increase meat production in a sustainable manner.

Our goal is to explore an intensive livestock system that is harmonious with the environment, allowing us to increase meat production both at the enterprise level and for the entire country, in order to achieve greater income throughout the production chain, within a sustainable system over time. To achieve this, we focus on techniques such as natural sowing, soil biological activity, pasture management, composting, and homeopathy. We aim to foster a fluid exchange with our colleagues, aiming to share our experiences and learn from theirs.

In line with our growth in production, we developed a software called "Caravana" that enables us to meticulously track all production processes and have specific and individual control over all aspects of our animals' lives.

We explore different sectors in the agricultural industry, such as full-cycle livestock farming, dryland and irrigated agriculture, and rice cultivation and processing. Under our brand "La Pradera," we offer meat lines (ANGUS, grass-fed, and organic) as well as rice. We are committed to composting and homeopathy in our production processes.
